How to Listen and Follow The Photography Made Simple Podcast
Here are Live Snap Love we just released our brand new podcast Photography Made Simple, and I couldn’t be more excited to dive into a different way to bring you photography tutorials and insights!
As it has only been quite recently that I even started listening to podcasts myself, I know that not everyone will be aware of how to listen to them.
Which is why in this post, I wanted to show you the different ways you can listen to the podcast AND how you can “follow” the podcast so you don’t miss future episodes.
First of all, if you are new to podcasts, I want you to know it’s REALLY easy to listen to them, as you can listen on pretty much all devices, from your smartphone to your ipad to your desktop!
That means you can listen to them when you’re out for a walk, stuck at your desk, folding laundry in the living room, or working out in the gym. And as you don’t need to watch anything, you can easily multi-task (which is why I love them so!)
You can listen on ANY podcasting app, from Apple Podcasts to Stitcher, and you can also listen to the episodes right here on the Live Snap Love website.
Let’s start with the apps; there are several podcast listening apps, but if you are just starting out (which if you’re reading this, I’m guessing you are!) the big 3 are, without doubt, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts.
Let’s look at all these options in turn….
#1 : Apple Podcasts
If you’re an Apple user, then it couldn’t be more simple, because all Apple devices come with a podcast app built-in. (This is where I listen to my podcasts!)
Just look around your apps on your iPhone or iPad etc, or search for the one called Apple Podcasts, and search for Photography Made Simple.
Alternatively, just click this link to go directly to Photography Made Simple on Apple Podcasts!
Once you’re there you can either scroll down to see all the available episodes, and then listen to any of them simply by selecting it and pressing play.
Of course, you’ll want to make sure you don’t miss an episode, so you can “follow” the podcast simply by clicking on the + Follow button at the top of the screen. By doing this, our episodes will start automatically showing up, ready for you to listen to you next time you open the app!
So the next time you want to listen, just fire up the app and pick an episode to listen to that day, or just click where it says latest episode and you’re good to go.
#2 - Spotify Podcasts
Spotify is primarily known as a music streaming service, but it’s also a really popular podcast platform. It’s a really good app for listening to podcasts, and you can even create playlists with them!
First of all, Click here to go to the Photography Made Simple podcast on Spotify.
Once again, all you need to do is scroll down and click play on any episodes (you can see the big green button on the screenshot below!) and to follow, all you need to do is click on the Follow button, and this will save the podcast to Your Library, so you can quickly access it again next time!
#3 - Google Podcasts
If you are an Android user, then panic not, because you have a podcast app built in too, called Google Podcasts. Again, you can open up this app and listen to the podcast on any Android device.
Click here to go to the Photography Made Simple podcast on Google Podcasts.
Now, I know that some of you don’t want to use an app to listen to the podcast, in which case, I’ve got you covered there too!
#4 - Listen to the podcast episode here on the blog!
All our podcast episodes have their own page, called “show notes”, and this is also where you can listen to the podcast without having to go into an app!
Just go into the show notes for that episode, look for the play button, and start listening!
Again, you can do this on your phone, your desktop computer, your tablet - whatever works for you :)
Click here to go to the main podcasts page.
#5 - Read ‘em instead!
I know not everyone is a fan of podcasts, so if that’s you don’t worry, we’ll also be creating blog posts with the main highlights from the podcast.
We’ll link to these blog posts from the show notes so you’ll know exactly where to find them, and that way you can read the highlights from the episode instead!
Hope you enjoy the show!
