Taking Your First Steps in Photography

Did you get a your first ever DSLR or Mirrorless camera this year? Then right now you are probably feeling a little overwhelmed! I get it, there’s so many dials, buttons and menu options that it can feel a bit daunting to know exactly what you are meant to do first!

The first thing I want you to know is that you are not alone. I have over 17 years experience in photography, and been teaching for nine of those! Plus I literally taught thousands of students in my Auto to Awesome program, so I know that I can help you get to where you want to be.

In this week’s podcast episode, I’m sharing with you what steps you should take right now (as in this week) to help get you started in photography.

Tune in to learn:

  • What to look for in a memory card

  • The two other items you’ll need before you can get started with photography!

  • Why your camera manual is worth it’s weight in gold

  • How to take your first steps away from AUTO (and why you want to do it)
